Qualifying

As usual these days qualifying was led by the Cobras, the quickest recording 1.21.612.  We were the second quickest E Type with 1.24.256 to take 8th place.

The Race

Spoilt by yellow flags and safety car, I went out first but couldn't get any really quick laps in.  I spent most of the racing laps we achieved battling with another E Type (Steve Tandy) and a quicky Healey - even touch it during some very close racing!  When I pitted on lap 28 we were in 7th place.  Charlie took over and without safety interrruptions managed to get 30 laps in and pull us up to a creditable 5th place, but our lack of outright power showing on the straights and in the lap times. 

Qualifying: 8th in 1.24.256

Race result: 5th in 1.31.32.518 (75.69mph)

Best Lap (by Charlie): 1.25.670, my best lap: 1.26.848
