Race Calendar & Results

The only out round of the AMOC series, having had a good day at the circuit a few weeks ago in the E Type I was happy to be back at this most friendly of circuits.

Qualifying went well, good times and no problems.

Race 1 - AMOC Intermarque

Someone forgot to bring any Toya tyres so I got 'promoted' to the invitation class, but as I have had mechanical issues earlier in the season, racing was more relevant now, than points.  I led the rolling start over the line in an orderly fashion, then floored the throttle.  By the first chicane, Esses, there was air between me and Tim Mogridges ferrari.  After a couple of laps I couldn't see anyone in my mirror so I just set off after the back markers.  It was a remarkably easy race, run at a similar speed to last years.

Race 2 - AMOC Championship

A standing start with Bob Searles alongside, but pretty much a repeat of race 1, a lovely unchallenged run through the back markers to the flag.  A very satisfactory days racing and a couple of 'pots' to take home.

2.13 secs clear of 2nd place

AMOC Championship: Pole in 1.15.888 at 87.76mph

2.974 secs clear of 2nd place

Race 1

Intermarque Result: 1st in 20.42.158 @ 85.78mph

Best lap: 1.16.595

Won by 17.821 secs

Race 2

AMOC Result: 1st in 15.40.445 @ 84.98mph

Best lap/fastest lap: 1.16.914

Won by 29.653 secs
